2017 Opening/Closing Sign Ups
- Updated: March 8, 2017
Each NCQMA family will be required to participate in race day opening and/or closing duties on a scheduled race day. This includes, but is not limited to: unlocking the scale house, putting out fire extinguishers & corner worker vests, distributing trash cans around facility, cleaning and restocking bathrooms, emptying trash cans, and picking up the grounds.
Captains will be assigned once the sign up slots have been filled. Report to your captain on the day of your duties (morning for opening, at conclusion of racing for closing) to get task assignments.
Failure to perform assigned race day opening/closing duties will result in a penalty. The penalty for failure to perform assigned race day opening/closing duties is a $50 fine to be paid prior to being allowed to register for the next race. This fine will be imposed each time an NCQMA family fails to perform their assigned opening/closing duties. Effective immediately, the fine will be enforced to all members.
If you need to change your sign up, you may do so on the website. However, if you need to make a change less than a week before the race you signed up for, please contact Stephen Garcia (email@example.com, 786-251-1707) to let him know that you need to change your sign up so that we can make sure to find someone else to fill that spot.
Each family must sign up for 3 spots (3 openings, 3 closings, or any other combination of opening and closing spots). You will receive a reminder email the day before your scheduled spots. Please try to get the early dates filled first so that we have coverage in place for the first few races.
